STUDIO

The studio space of painter and visual artist Jane Francis. She spends her time working somewhere in the intersections between painting, drawing, curating and leading participatory projects.

EXHIBITION & POP-UP SPACE

Glisk is an exhibition space on the high street of the lovely Fife seaside town of Burntisland. It is a light-filled and serene space, inspired by both Scandinavian and Japanese designs which embrace and enjoy imperfections in materials and reveal a place’s history and use.

Glisk provides space for exhibitions, events, classes and pop-ups. It is run by artist Jane Francis.

Contact jane@glisk.cloud for more information about exhibiting at Glisk.

Exhibition Space

I enjoy engaging with the work of other artists and have developed a curational element to my practice. The exhibition space is therefor an exciting opportunity for me to create an accessible and stimulating space for artists, creators, and curious visitors.
The artists who exhibited here are invited to join and co-create a growing mutually supportive community.
— Jane Francis

Exhibiting artists can fully inhabit the space at Glisk, either singly or in collaboration. Artists showing work which is experimental for them, and/or is taking their work in new directions are particular welcome to approach us, as are neurodivergent and disabled artists. The space is open to experimentation with exhibition formats, spacial configurations and time frames. We aren’t looking for a program which is proscribed, but organic and responsive.
