Marion’s art practice has in recent years been focussed on abstract painting, inspired by brutalist architecture and the urban environment. Over the last two years, she has worked with different media, including reclaimed wood and cast cement, as well as collage. She has also enjoyed making small books, sometimes with a figurative element.
Jane is a mixed media artist, based at her studio and gallery space in Burntisland. Since 2014 she has been developing her art practice, including leading several participatory art projects. She also enjoys the curating process. and has run the gallery space at Glisk for over two years. She has recently been awarded a Create: Inclusion grant from Creative Scotland to develop her personal practice until August 2023. Instagram
Jane is a mixed media artist, who this past year has spent much of her time experimenting with hand made inks, made from botanical ingredients, and applying them to a variety of surfaces, including hand made papers. She mostly works with native and self generated plants growing on marginalised land, and includes pieces of pressed and dried plants and flowers. More recently she has been using the same techniques to develop a more abstract visual language.
