About the Gallery
The Glisk exhibition space is an extension of the studio of visual artist Jane Francis. It acts as an occasional venue for exhibitions and events, featuring single artists, collaborations, curated collections and temporary pop ups. You’ll find exploratory, new and risk-taking work, as well as the culminations of extended projects. Operating under the principal that you don’t need to try and be all things to all people, if you do what you really love, those who also love it will find you. The ethos and aesthetic are serious and intense, while engaging fully with the sensual and playful.
Creating the studio and gallery spaces took over 6 months of renovations and is truly a labour of love! They are in constant development as times change and with each exhibition, event or collaboration.
You can find out what events are coming up here or add your name to the mailing list.
If you are interested in holding an event or exhibition at Glisk, please email Jane at jane@glisk.cloud with some images of your work and ideally a link to a website or social media account. An outline or brief proposal about your ideas for your event are also appreciated in the first instance. Please be aware that Glisk exhibition space is not a blank hire space, and that acceptance of proposals are at the discretion of Jane and her team.
