Burntisland-based artist Jo Morton will be running a day-long workshop, ‘Introducing Gouache’, where she will be showing her approach to using gouache. Participants will be painting a beautiful picture to take home. Places will be limited to three participants per workshop, allowing for plenty of individual attention. A light lunch and other refreshments are included in the cost. All materials are also included

A bit about your tutor: Jo’s main focus has long been landscape, however a strong interest in birds appears to have been a latent feature, with bird studies featuring in her work in the past. Having become more of a focus, she wants to share her passion for painting them in gouache.

Jo has traveled extensively to gain inspiration for her work, often on her own, enjoying particularly her explorations in the Lake District, West Yorkshire and the Hebrides.
