I am fascinated by nature’s calligraphy: the myriad of lines on windswept beaches, tiny barnacles nestled in rock crevices, the delicate structures of shells. My work is an exploration of my strong bond with the natural environment. With homes near Edinburgh and on the Far South Coast of New South Wales, I’m able to draw inspiration from two contrasting geographies. It is these contrasts in the human footprint that I endeavour to portray.
